Narrative:
Aircraft taxiing, gate arrival. While being marshalled into parking position, with wing walkers in place, aircraft's left wingtip came into contact with catering truck. The aircraft was then stopped and parking brake set with marshaller still giving signals to continue forward. At no time were we signaled of impending collision.

Title: AN ACR CAPT RPTED THAT, DURING TAXI INTO THE GATE, THE MARSHALLER CONTINUED TO SIGNAL THE CAPT FORWARD EVEN AFTER THE ACFT STRUCK A CATERING TRUCK.
Narrative: ACFT TAXIING, GATE ARR. WHILE BEING MARSHALLED INTO PARKING POS, WITH WING WALKERS IN PLACE, ACFT'S L WINGTIP CAME INTO CONTACT WITH CATERING TRUCK. THE ACFT WAS THEN STOPPED AND PARKING BRAKE SET WITH MARSHALLER STILL GIVING SIGNALS TO CONTINUE FORWARD. AT NO TIME WERE WE SIGNALED OF IMPENDING COLLISION.
