Narrative:
The captain informed us and the passenger that there may be some smoke (light) and a smell after we take off. There was heavy fog after takeoff. You could definitely see the smoke. The smell wasn't really bad. The captain was great with informing us of the situation. We descended and the smoke dissipated, and we resumed normal operation. No one (passenger) complained to me about the effects of the smoke/smell. I did notice my throat was scratchy the rest of the day. Once again, the pilots acted great. He had us informed the whole time.
