Narrative:
During unusual attitude recovery, student may have entered los angeles class B airspace. Noting our position near the water treatment plant, it occurred to me that we might have entered the 4000 ft area of the los angeles class B airspace. I don't think we did, but we would have been close if we didn't. Plan to start unusual altitude recoveries with greater distance from class B airspace so I'm positive there will be no airspace incursion. I think we were under the 8000-9000 ft floor, but I'm just not sure. I was having the student fly under the hood for a while to get disoriented. I was watching for traffic and airspace. I thought the pom VOR 175 degree radial was centered so it should have been ok, but VOR hadn't been checked before this particular flight.
