Narrative:
Arrived bos and was cleared to gate via taxiway K, taxiway K2, and taxiway a. Taxiway a, between taxiway south and taxiway K2, closed for construction. Construction dump truck, led by pickup escort on north side of taxiway K2, waiting to cross taxiway K. Trucks appeared to be at a safe distance. I turned right on taxiway K2 (trucks on my right). As I started a left turn onto taxiway 'a', felt bump, stopped aircraft. Right wing had contacted the dump truck and damaged #8 slat and right position light cover was cracked. There were no injuries to passenger or crew. Supplemental information from acn 484822: while taxiing to gate at bos, we were cleared to taxi via taxiway K, taxiway K2, and taxiway a. Approaching taxiway K2, I saw 2 trucks with drivers well outside of the double yellow taxi line at what appeared to be a safe distance. The lead truck was a pickup followed by a dump truck parallel to K2 and facing taxiway K. The captain started the right turn onto taxiway K2 and both vehicles still appeared to be clear. As we passed abeam and began our left turn onto taxiway a, the trucks passed out of view. Moments later, we felt a bump and stopped the aircraft. We called ground and operations and notified them of the collision. The right wingtip and #8 slat were damaged. No injuries occurred. Supplemental information from acn 484654: men and equipment (rescue) were sent out to make sure no leaks (fuel) occurred. There were no fuel leaks encountered, only minor damage to the #8 slat and right outboard wing. All the passenger were fine and none upset.
