Narrative:
A flight attendant advised us that a passenger was ill, traveling with a daughter. A doctor was onboard and advised us a need to divert. The passenger suffered congestive heart failure and necrotic neuroma. Oxygen provided. Fire and rescue and local emergency medical service removed the passenger in gso to jetway and tried to resuscitate. The passenger died about XA00 on the jetway. The flight was from ewr to clt with diversion to gso. The flight continued to clt at XB30. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated that they were flying a B737-300. It was an older woman who died, traveling with an adult daughter with whom she was going to live with. They tried everything to resuscitate the woman on the jetway. They took a delay on the ground to replace the medical kit and the oxygen bottles used.
