Narrative:
We were approaching the departure end of the runway when we switched to tower frequency. Tower told us to switch back to ground frequency. We did and he issued our takeoff sequence. We should have stayed on ground control slightly longer.

Title: A CL65 RPTED THAT HE SWITCHED TO CVG TWR TOO EARLY AS HE APCHED THE DEP END OF THE RWY.
Narrative: WE WERE APCHING THE DEP END OF THE RWY WHEN WE SWITCHED TO TWR FREQ. TWR TOLD US TO SWITCH BACK TO GND FREQ. WE DID AND HE ISSUED OUR TKOF SEQUENCE. WE SHOULD HAVE STAYED ON GND CTL SLIGHTLY LONGER.
