Narrative:
While performing maintenance on the right windshield of air carrier aircraft xyz, flight XXX, the windshield wiper was not reinstalled. This was discovered by the flight crew prior to their departure. The wiper was reinstalled by maintenance with no substantial delay to the flight.

Title: AN MD88 HAD THE R WINDSHIELD REPLACED ON THE OVERNIGHT LAYOVER AND, PRIOR TO DEP, IT WAS FOUND THE WINDSHIELD WIPER WAS NOT INSTALLED.
Narrative: WHILE PERFORMING MAINT ON THE R WINDSHIELD OF ACR ACFT XYZ, FLT XXX, THE WINDSHIELD WIPER WAS NOT REINSTALLED. THIS WAS DISCOVERED BY THE FLC PRIOR TO THEIR DEP. THE WIPER WAS REINSTALLED BY MAINT WITH NO SUBSTANTIAL DELAY TO THE FLT.
