Narrative:
We departed dallas love field and we were given the following clearance: dal DALL6.TTT.mei.LGC8.atl. The FMS was programmed but modified to match the company flight plan given with all releases. The flight plan showed kdal...TTT...mei...after takeoff we were given a turn to intercept the 084 degrees off TTT. We followed the instructions and we were fine until the controller noticed we didn't make the required turn at uim on the 072 degree radial to eld. We responded, 'we were heading direct mei.' the controller informed us that we should be heading to eld on the DALL6 departure. We were given a heading direct eld and we proceeded there immediately. I believe the problem would not have come up if the flight plan matched the route the company filed. The flight dispatcher should assure that they match in the future. We, as pilots, should always fly what is given to us on the clearance, regardless of the flight plan.

Title: TRACK DEV ON THE DAL-DALL6 DEP FROM DAL, TX.
Narrative: WE DEPARTED DALLAS LOVE FIELD AND WE WERE GIVEN THE FOLLOWING CLRNC: DAL DALL6.TTT.MEI.LGC8.ATL. THE FMS WAS PROGRAMMED BUT MODIFIED TO MATCH THE COMPANY FLT PLAN GIVEN WITH ALL RELEASES. THE FLT PLAN SHOWED KDAL...TTT...MEI...AFTER TKOF WE WERE GIVEN A TURN TO INTERCEPT THE 084 DEGS OFF TTT. WE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WE WERE FINE UNTIL THE CTLR NOTICED WE DIDN'T MAKE THE REQUIRED TURN AT UIM ON THE 072 DEG RADIAL TO ELD. WE RESPONDED, 'WE WERE HEADING DIRECT MEI.' THE CTLR INFORMED US THAT WE SHOULD BE HEADING TO ELD ON THE DALL6 DEP. WE WERE GIVEN A HEADING DIRECT ELD AND WE PROCEEDED THERE IMMEDIATELY. I BELIEVE THE PROB WOULD NOT HAVE COME UP IF THE FLT PLAN MATCHED THE RTE THE COMPANY FILED. THE FLT DISPATCHER SHOULD ASSURE THAT THEY MATCH IN THE FUTURE. WE, AS PLTS, SHOULD ALWAYS FLY WHAT IS GIVEN TO US ON THE CLRNC, REGARDLESS OF THE FLT PLAN.
