Narrative:
We had leveled at FL370 for about 10-15 mins, en route from mdw to mht. The first indication of depressurization was felt in our ears. The cabin altitude horn went off next. The cabin altitude was rising rapidly through 17000 ft when we initiated the required actions, declared an emergency, and stated our intent to commence an emergency descent. Our cabin altitude exceeded FL240. No obvious noise, such as a bang, was associated with the event. We kept ATC and the passenger advised during our descent. All passenger masks had deployed as required. We leveled at 10000 ft. No injuries were reported by the flight attendants. We regained pressurization at 10000 ft. We climbed to 13000 ft and proceeded on to our destination of mht, after discussion with dispatch. We made an uneventful landing at mht.
