Given holding at ott inbound on J51 (southwest) FL350, left turns, 15 mi legs while en route clt-lga. All other traffic was being held at paleo, 26 mi beyond ott. Captain set up for holding at paleo. Between ott and paleo confirmed holding at ott with ZNY, returned to holding at ott.
