Narrative:
This took place on taxiway B after exiting runway 1L en route to the east ramp at pafa. I acknowledged 'hold short of the float pond.' aircraft are at about 100 ft AGL crossing over taxiway B to land on the float pond (now frozen) on skies. This was not a runway incursion. Safety was not compromised. The ski plane was 1 mi south as I crossed the extended centerline of the float pond. Still, I goofed. I was distraction explaining the after landing checklist to my passenger. I will not be distraction like this again.
