Narrative:

Missed turn on brdge 5 arrival by 3-4 mi. No known traffic conflict. Misread approach plate and briefed north landing procedure instead of south landing. Supplemental information from acn 495279: autoplt inoperative. On the brdge 5 arrival into tpa, we failed to turn to 360 degrees at jstrm. Both pilots expecting vectors. Controller asked if we were on the arrival. We said 'yes.' he said 'you blew it, turn right to 060 degrees to stay clear of departure corridor.' no traffic on the TCASII. Turned right and proceeded as directed.
