Narrative:
On the takeoff roll at approximately 100 KTS, we received a master warning message on the EICAS 'ice.' the first officer was PF. I called 'abort' and took control of the aircraft. The rejected takeoff was completed and we exited the runway at taxiway F. The first officer notified tower of the abort quickly. We taxied back to the gate. This message appeared very near the decision speed which determines whether an abort is performed or if the takeoff is continued. The runway was contaminated with snow and one thrust reverser was deferred. The rejected takeoff was performed safely with runway to spare and minimal brake heating.

Title: CL65 CREW HAD A HIGH SPD TKOF ABORT ON RWY 21C AT DTW.
Narrative: ON THE TKOF ROLL AT APPROX 100 KTS, WE RECEIVED A MASTER WARNING MESSAGE ON THE EICAS 'ICE.' THE FO WAS PF. I CALLED 'ABORT' AND TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT. THE REJECTED TKOF WAS COMPLETED AND WE EXITED THE RWY AT TXWY F. THE FO NOTIFIED TWR OF THE ABORT QUICKLY. WE TAXIED BACK TO THE GATE. THIS MESSAGE APPEARED VERY NEAR THE DECISION SPD WHICH DETERMINES WHETHER AN ABORT IS PERFORMED OR IF THE TKOF IS CONTINUED. THE RWY WAS CONTAMINATED WITH SNOW AND ONE THRUST REVERSER WAS DEFERRED. THE REJECTED TKOF WAS PERFORMED SAFELY WITH RWY TO SPARE AND MINIMAL BRAKE HEATING.
