Narrative:

In cruise along V16 between elp and cus at 400 KIAS, aircraft veered slightly south of course after changing from elp VOR to cus VOR. Cus VOR was not receiving obs, only DME. Center called on VHF to say he showed aircraft over mexico. Immediately turned 10 degrees north to correct situation. Pilot was temporarily distraction with other cockpit duties at time. Was perhaps 1 NM over the boundary.

Narrative: IN CRUISE ALONG V16 BTWN ELP AND CUS AT 400 KIAS, ACFT VEERED SLIGHTLY S OF COURSE AFTER CHANGING FROM ELP VOR TO CUS VOR. CUS VOR WAS NOT RECEIVING OBS, ONLY DME.
