Narrative:
Upon aircraft xyz arrival at ZZZ, trip XXX, found that inbound captain had relamped a night light bulb in the cabin ceiling panel. When I reviewed the logbook, I was unsure if this captain had a maintenance manual and ipc reference, but was assigned to clear this discrepancy. I am not aware of this captain possessing a valid a&P license, so I verified correct installation and correct part number of replaced lamp per the ipc.
