Narrative:
Before boarding of flight xy mia-dfw, I and flight attendant #4 witnessed aircraft maintenance opening both the aft galley and aft r-hand emergency exits and shutting them afterwards. We took off as scheduled. All appeared just fine, until I and flight attendant #4 heard a noise outside the r-hand aft emergency exit. I phoned flight attendant #1 about the noise and flight attendant #4 walked up to the cockpit and spoke with the captain about it. After our maintenance cabin service, we were told we would land in tpa to rectify the situation. We did as the captain said we would (land in tpa). The noise was a barrier strap buckle outside the door. In tampa, it was placed back inside the aircraft. The door was examined. We refueled and took off for dfw.
