Narrative:
Returning from fxe, called mia for flight following, vector to 210 degrees for light traffic. Approximately 10 mins, mia switched me to 125.2 (odd frequency). I maintained 210 degree heading for 15 mins or so. I knew I was getting close to the limit of the TCA. Wind was approximately 25 KTS west moving towards the TCA. Maintained 210 degrees, saw a jet off 10 O'clock position. Called mia approach. They said they could not reach me and to call the tower chief on a land phone, and they told me to resume own navigation. Told tower chief of my new radios and the new connection with tower. Stated that I have flown TCA many times with their help. Told me to be careful and thanked me. This was my fault for not getting to the controller for another vector. The strange frequency should have tipped me. I do not turn radios down when on frequency with flight following.

Title: SMA PLT ENTERED MIA CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: RETURNING FROM FXE, CALLED MIA FOR FLT FOLLOWING, VECTOR TO 210 DEGS FOR LIGHT TFC. APPROX 10 MINS, MIA SWITCHED ME TO 125.2 (ODD FREQ). I MAINTAINED 210 DEG HDG FOR 15 MINS OR SO. I KNEW I WAS GETTING CLOSE TO THE LIMIT OF THE TCA. WIND WAS APPROX 25 KTS W MOVING TOWARDS THE TCA. MAINTAINED 210 DEGS, SAW A JET OFF 10 O'CLOCK POS. CALLED MIA APCH. THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT REACH ME AND TO CALL THE TWR CHIEF ON A LAND PHONE, AND THEY TOLD ME TO RESUME OWN NAV. TOLD TWR CHIEF OF MY NEW RADIOS AND THE NEW CONNECTION WITH TWR. STATED THAT I HAVE FLOWN TCA MANY TIMES WITH THEIR HELP. TOLD ME TO BE CAREFUL AND THANKED ME. THIS WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT GETTING TO THE CTLR FOR ANOTHER VECTOR. THE STRANGE FREQ SHOULD HAVE TIPPED ME. I DO NOT TURN RADIOS DOWN WHEN ON FREQ WITH FLT FOLLOWING.
