Narrative:
Night operations, taxi. The bombardier crj aircraft cannot be seen from the rear at night. The wingtip winglets block the position lights from being observed from the rear. The aircraft needs to be modified to put the lights outboard or on top of the winglet. Otherwise, ground collisions will result.

Title: B757 CREW OBSERVED DURING TAXI THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO SEE THE POS LIGHTS OF THE ACFT THEY WERE FOLLOWING.
Narrative: NIGHT OPS, TAXI. THE BOMBARDIER CRJ ACFT CANNOT BE SEEN FROM THE REAR AT NIGHT. THE WINGTIP WINGLETS BLOCK THE POS LIGHTS FROM BEING OBSERVED FROM THE REAR. THE ACFT NEEDS TO BE MODIFIED TO PUT THE LIGHTS OUTBOARD OR ON TOP OF THE WINGLET. OTHERWISE, GND COLLISIONS WILL RESULT.
