Narrative:

A passenger used the lavatory for smoking purposes. An alarm went off. I opened the door of the lavatory and its smell of cigarettes was very strong. I checked the different compartments of the lavatory, looking for a fire, but there was none. What causes the situation is not the smoking, it is allowing passenger to by liquor at duty free zone and letting them drink it on board. All the majority of incidents in-flight in and out of sdq and pop come from the duty free sales and onboard drinking. I am tired of these sits.
