Narrative:
While on initial climb out off of runway 19L at iad, we were having trouble with the 'propeller sync.' that situation diverted our attention as we climbed through 3000 ft. We noticed our problem at approximately 3300 ft and corrected immediately. After contacting departure, they cleared us to climb to 7000 ft. We did that with no further incident.
