Narrative:
During first day of 4 day pairing, aircraft was received during third aircraft swap of the day. Day included 7 legs. Aircraft had a pilot deferral on windshield heat. Deferral occurred earlier during the day and had flown all day that way. We were made aware of deferral by the crew giving up the aircraft. I was notified on wednesday that aircraft should have been looked at by maintenance and that the pilot deferral should have been changed to a maintenance deferral. Aircraft flew through las, hou, and dal before we got it.
