Narrative:

Evaluating the unusual attitude recovery and situational (altitude) awareness of a new cockpit pfd display system. At approximately 15000 ft, we zoomed up to approximately +40 degree pitch attitude, rolled to the right horizon, let the nose fall to approximately -25 degrees pitch attitude. Just after the apogee of the maneuver, I noticed the altimeter indicating 17800 ft. We could have momentarily violated positive control area. Other crew members didn't indicate that and if barometric correction considered we were probably only at 17400 ft.

Title: A C560 CREW DURING FLT EVALUATION, MAY HAVE VIOLATED THE PCA.

Narrative: EVALUATING THE UNUSUAL ATTITUDE RECOVERY AND SITUATIONAL (ALT) AWARENESS OF A NEW COCKPIT PFD DISPLAY SYS. AT APPROX 15000 FT, WE ZOOMED UP TO APPROX +40 DEG PITCH ATTITUDE, ROLLED TO THE R HORIZON, LET THE NOSE FALL TO APPROX -25 DEGS PITCH ATTITUDE. JUST AFTER THE APOGEE OF THE MANEUVER, I NOTICED THE ALTIMETER INDICATING 17800 FT. WE COULD HAVE MOMENTARILY VIOLATED PCA. OTHER CREW MEMBERS DIDN'T INDICATE THAT AND IF BAROMETRIC CORRECTION CONSIDERED WE WERE PROBABLY ONLY AT 17400 FT.
