Narrative:
During boarding, I told the agent that the men in seats xx-abc were intoxicated. Agent said unless they did something wrong, they couldn't be denied boarding. I pointed out that one was leaning against the jetbridge wall, he couldn't walk. Another agent came on board and talked with them. Agent said they were ok, but don't serve them liquor. When denied liquor during flight, passenger caused a scene with the flight attendant and the captain during deplaning. This all could have been prevented.

Title: B757-200 GATE AGENT REFUSED TO REMOVE DRUNK PAX IN MCO.
Narrative: DURING BOARDING, I TOLD THE AGENT THAT THE MEN IN SEATS XX-ABC WERE INTOXICATED. AGENT SAID UNLESS THEY DID SOMETHING WRONG, THEY COULDN'T BE DENIED BOARDING. I POINTED OUT THAT ONE WAS LEANING AGAINST THE JETBRIDGE WALL, HE COULDN'T WALK. ANOTHER AGENT CAME ON BOARD AND TALKED WITH THEM. AGENT SAID THEY WERE OK, BUT DON'T SERVE THEM LIQUOR. WHEN DENIED LIQUOR DURING FLT, PAX CAUSED A SCENE WITH THE FLT ATTENDANT AND THE CAPT DURING DEPLANING. THIS ALL COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED.
