Narrative:
After leveling at 5000 ft and 250 KTS, center cleared us to 15000 ft and as we started the climb we lost our speed control and aircraft accelerated to approximately 280 KTS with an immediate reduction to 250 KTS. ATC made no comments or asked any questions, but due to the hou increased departure speed test, I want to report the speed limit exceedence.

Narrative: AFTER LEVELING AT 5000 FT AND 250 KTS, CTR CLRED US TO 15000 FT AND AS WE STARTED THE CLB WE LOST OUR SPD CTL AND ACFT ACCELERATED TO APPROX 280 KTS WITH AN IMMEDIATE REDUCTION TO 250 KTS. ATC MADE NO COMMENTS OR ASKED ANY QUESTIONS, BUT DUE TO THE HOU INCREASED DEP SPD TEST, I WANT TO RPT THE SPD LIMIT EXCEEDENCE.
