Narrative:
We were given a late change to a different arrival. The new arrival was the baset arrival from pdz. We were told to cross konzl at 17000 ft. Just as were arriving at konzl on altitude, we were given the clearance for the baset arrival. The next crossing was trtle at 16000 ft which came very quick. The captain was flying and we did not make the 16000 ft in time. Later in the arrival, there were several other steps made with no problem. After 12000 ft, there was another step to 10000 ft at downe then to 8000 ft after that. The captain started the descent early without my knowledge and then ATC directed a level off which, by the time the captain got the descent stopped, we were at 9600 ft.
