Narrative:
Attached to this form is a resignation letter. Since my name is still as director of operations for air carrier in ZZZ, us, I am very concerned that an accident or incident will occur. I do not want to be a scapegoat for events happening after my resignation. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated he was hired as director of flight operations to tighten things up and improve safety. The reporter said the airline operated several bizjet aircraft in a part 135 airline. The reporter alleged that a friend of an airline employee was hired as chief pilot with a career total flying time of 40 hours. The reporter also alleges the chief pilot with the concurrence of the president upgraded 3 pilots to captain in conflict with the reporter's advice. The reporter said a copy of the letter of resignation was sent to the FAA and a phone conversation with an FAA lawyer was initiated to have his name removed from the airline's directory.
