Narrative:

Center gave us a heading of 035 degrees for intrail spacing and we read it back. A few mins later the controller asked us if we turned to 350 degrees. We believe he gave us an incorrect heading (possible dyslexia). On our next handoff, the controller called our call sign backwards. We were not sure if we heard the heading wrong or if it was given to us incorrectly. On that same flight, our FMS became unreliable when we were 100 NM southwest of pxv. We were cleared to pxv and we used ground based navigation. ATC queried us if we were going direct pxv. We fixed our FMS's position and both ground based and FMS navigation showed us direct pxv.

Title: MLG FLC WERE ADVISED BY ARTCC CTLR THAT THEY WERE ON THE WRONG HDG DURING AN ATC VECTOR GIVEN TO THEM DURING CRUISE. HOWEVER, BOTH CREW MEMBERS HEARD AND READ BACK THE HDG THEY WERE ON.

Narrative: CTR GAVE US A HDG OF 035 DEGS FOR INTRAIL SPACING AND WE READ IT BACK. A FEW MINS LATER THE CTLR ASKED US IF WE TURNED TO 350 DEGS. WE BELIEVE HE GAVE US AN INCORRECT HDG (POSSIBLE DYSLEXIA). ON OUR NEXT HDOF, THE CTLR CALLED OUR CALL SIGN BACKWARDS. WE WERE NOT SURE IF WE HEARD THE HDG WRONG OR IF IT WAS GIVEN TO US INCORRECTLY. ON THAT SAME FLT, OUR FMS BECAME UNRELIABLE WHEN WE WERE 100 NM SW OF PXV. WE WERE CLRED TO PXV AND WE USED GND BASED NAV. ATC QUERIED US IF WE WERE GOING DIRECT PXV. WE FIXED OUR FMS'S POS AND BOTH GND BASED AND FMS NAV SHOWED US DIRECT PXV.
