Narrative:
Unable to make crossing restr of 9000 ft at farak, on farak 7F departure, TOP8U transition. Aircraft coupled to FMS may have made early turns as the departure progressed and having the effect of less room to climb. Also top bug speed of 275 KTS was used in the climb which may have decreased our climb ability as well (instead of 250 KTS). No aircraft conflict known. Missed crossing altitude by 400-500 ft.
