Narrative:
It was an early morning flight from hon to bkx (an almost due east course) with the sun just rising and a little haze. We were going to make a visual approach to runway 13 [12] and made traffic announcements stating that on CTAF starting 20-25 mi out on our #2 radio. We got the airport in sight and were cleared for the visual. We proceeded straight in to runway 13 [12] continuing to make traffic calls. It was only upon touchdown that the outline of a truck appeared farther down the runway. No evasive action was needed due to the distance downfield of the truck. Contributing factors included the glare from the sun through the haze and the non requirement of an aircraft/vehicle to have simply a hand-held radio to report its position on or near an airport runway or environment.

Title: A BE1900 ACR FLT LANDS ON A RWY OCCUPIED BY AN UNRPTED TRUCK SOME 2700 FT DOWN THE RWY AT BKX, SD.
Narrative: IT WAS AN EARLY MORNING FLT FROM HON TO BKX (AN ALMOST DUE E COURSE) WITH THE SUN JUST RISING AND A LITTLE HAZE. WE WERE GOING TO MAKE A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 13 [12] AND MADE TFC ANNOUNCEMENTS STATING THAT ON CTAF STARTING 20-25 MI OUT ON OUR #2 RADIO. WE GOT THE ARPT IN SIGHT AND WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL. WE PROCEEDED STRAIGHT IN TO RWY 13 [12] CONTINUING TO MAKE TFC CALLS. IT WAS ONLY UPON TOUCHDOWN THAT THE OUTLINE OF A TRUCK APPEARED FARTHER DOWN THE RWY. NO EVASIVE ACTION WAS NEEDED DUE TO THE DISTANCE DOWNFIELD OF THE TRUCK. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS INCLUDED THE GLARE FROM THE SUN THROUGH THE HAZE AND THE NON REQUIREMENT OF AN ACFT/VEHICLE TO HAVE SIMPLY A HAND-HELD RADIO TO RPT ITS POS ON OR NEAR AN ARPT RWY OR ENVIRONMENT.
