Narrative:
Mechanic did write-up deferring unsvcable auxiliary fuel pump advisory light. FAA inspector felt improper write-up due to the captain's write-up said the pump itself was intermittent. Still remains a difference of opinion. Pump was tested before flight and all was ok.

Title: AN FAA SAFETY INSPECTOR QUESTIONS THE DEFERRAL OF AN AUX TANK FUEL BOOST PUMP LOW PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT.
Narrative: MECH DID WRITE-UP DEFERRING UNSVCABLE AUX FUEL PUMP ADVISORY LIGHT. FAA INSPECTOR FELT IMPROPER WRITE-UP DUE TO THE CAPT'S WRITE-UP SAID THE PUMP ITSELF WAS INTERMITTENT. STILL REMAINS A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION. PUMP WAS TESTED BEFORE FLT AND ALL WAS OK.
