Narrative:
Flight filed dfw to ord via TEX7 okm J181 bdf BDF3 ord FL370. First officer was PF, while captain was PNF. After crossing eos, J181 tracks the 042 degree radial of eos to intercept the 032 degree radial of sgf to the 219 degree radial of bdf. We were navigating using the united states hi chart 1-2, which does not clearly distinguish where or if the sgf radial is intercepted. We were tracking the eos radial to approximately 115 DME of eos when ATC stated that we had missed our turn. I estimate we were about 5 mi east of J181 at the time. We turned 20 degrees left to reintercept the airway. No other aircraft were in the vicinity at the time. Flight continued to ord without any further incident.

Narrative: FLT FILED DFW TO ORD VIA TEX7 OKM J181 BDF BDF3 ORD FL370. FO WAS PF, WHILE CAPT WAS PNF. AFTER XING EOS, J181 TRACKS THE 042 DEG RADIAL OF EOS TO INTERCEPT THE 032 DEG RADIAL OF SGF TO THE 219 DEG RADIAL OF BDF. WE WERE NAVING USING THE UNITED STATES HI CHART 1-2, WHICH DOES NOT CLRLY DISTINGUISH WHERE OR IF THE SGF RADIAL IS INTERCEPTED. WE TURNED 20 DEGS L TO REINTERCEPT THE AIRWAY. NO OTHER ACFT WERE IN THE VICINITY AT THE TIME. FLT CONTINUED TO ORD WITHOUT ANY FURTHER INCIDENT.
