Narrative:
Climbing through FL295, we experienced a loss of the autothrottle system, the autoplt, both flight directors, the FMA, and altitude alerter. We were unable to engage either autoplt. Due to the numerous failures and lack of altitude alerter, we inadvertently climbed to FL320 with a clearance to maintain FL310. We immediately descended to our assigned altitude.
