Narrative:
ATC instructed us to 'keep maximum speed to runway, traffic behind you, clear to land.' when we attempted to extend the flaps from 25-30 degrees, they would not extend. I told the captain the flaps would not extend to 30 degrees, he called for flaps 40 degrees and they still would not extend. We then tried to retract the flaps to 15 degrees and they would not retract. The captain said 'leave them at 25 degrees, then we have plenty of runway. The wind is straight down the runway and we have enough speed because I don't want to try and do a go around with the flaps not moving.' we then landed with flaps 25 degrees. We got approximately 3 terrain warnings due to the flap confign. We acknowledged them and continued. Once on the ground, I did the after landing check and the flaps retracted. We both were surprised at the flap's movement so we recycled the flaps a couple of times and they seemed to work ok, and to the best of my knowledge the captain did not make a maintenance logbook entry of the occurrence.

Title: A B737-800 FLC EXPERIENCED A FLAP PROB ON SHORT FINAL THAT RESOLVED ITSELF ON THE GND WITHOUT WRITING THE PROB UP IN THE LOGBOOK AT LAS, NV.
Narrative: ATC INSTRUCTED US TO 'KEEP MAX SPD TO RWY, TFC BEHIND YOU, CLR TO LAND.' WHEN WE ATTEMPTED TO EXTEND THE FLAPS FROM 25-30 DEGS, THEY WOULD NOT EXTEND. I TOLD THE CAPT THE FLAPS WOULD NOT EXTEND TO 30 DEGS, HE CALLED FOR FLAPS 40 DEGS AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT EXTEND. WE THEN TRIED TO RETRACT THE FLAPS TO 15 DEGS AND THEY WOULD NOT RETRACT. THE CAPT SAID 'LEAVE THEM AT 25 DEGS, THEN WE HAVE PLENTY OF RWY. THE WIND IS STRAIGHT DOWN THE RWY AND WE HAVE ENOUGH SPD BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO TRY AND DO A GAR WITH THE FLAPS NOT MOVING.' WE THEN LANDED WITH FLAPS 25 DEGS. WE GOT APPROX 3 TERRAIN WARNINGS DUE TO THE FLAP CONFIGN. WE ACKNOWLEDGED THEM AND CONTINUED. ONCE ON THE GND, I DID THE AFTER LNDG CHK AND THE FLAPS RETRACTED. WE BOTH WERE SURPRISED AT THE FLAP'S MOVEMENT SO WE RECYCLED THE FLAPS A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THEY SEEMED TO WORK OK, AND TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE THE CAPT DID NOT MAKE A MAINT LOGBOOK ENTRY OF THE OCCURRENCE.
