Narrative:

Due to high workload during visual approach in hazy conditions at lax, aircraft being flown by first officer went through localizer approach course runway 24R (cleared runway) into approach course for runway 25R lax. Captain distraction by reading of checklist and setting up cockpit (switches, etc) for landing. After realization of mistake, successful landing accomplished runway 24R. No other aircraft affected.
