Narrative:

I responded to a TCASII RA immediately on departure from jnu. The traffic was in sight, a helicopter just north of our departure path at about 800 ft. Jnu tower did not advise us of any air traffic on departure. The great number of helicopters in and around the jnu airport in close proximity to jet traffic is an extreme hazard. The helicopter flight paths are too close to the jet departure flight paths.
