Narrative:
I assumed the captain had gotten the pre departure clearance. Taxiing out, the omc asked about the squawk code missing from the transponder. Looking at the captain's FMC, I entered the code on the pre departure clearance printout. On takeoff, departure asked us to change our code. Both the captain and myself realized the pre departure clearance printout was from the previous flight.

Title: B737 FO AND CAPT FAIL TO ENTER CORRECT XPONDER CODE PRIOR TO DEPARTING DEN, WHICH IS BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTN ON TKOF BY D01.
Narrative: I ASSUMED THE CAPT HAD GOTTEN THE PDC. TAXIING OUT, THE OMC ASKED ABOUT THE SQUAWK CODE MISSING FROM THE XPONDER. LOOKING AT THE CAPT'S FMC, I ENTERED THE CODE ON THE PDC PRINTOUT.
