Narrative:
During taxi out to runway 9L we crossed the hold short line to runway 9L. We advised tower. They cleared us on to runway 12. An aircraft landed on runway 9L then we were cleared onto runway 9L and took off. The hold short line for runway 9L is shared with runway 12 and is far away from the runway. A note in the airport page warning of this would be helpful. I was unfamiliar with mia. Both the captain and I had our airport chart pages out and were reviewed prior to taxi out. All SOP's were followed.
