Narrative:
On jun/fri/O1 at XA20 we were clearing customs at ft lauderdale executive airport. (We had just returned from st. Maarten (tncm) in the caribbean.) an FAA inspector was inside the customs building and asked me for my pilot license and medical, which I showed him. He also asked for my FCC radio license which I do have but not with me. He (FAA inspector) then told us that the FCC radio license is required for international flts. I will carry my FCC license with me from now on!
