Narrative:
We took off at lax with 5000 pounds in center tank and neither of us noticed that we were not burning center tank fuel. Numerous flight attendant interruptions occurred during the flight. The unburned fuel was discovered after landing causes: quick taxi/takeoff coupled with radio chatter distraction us during moments we would have caught the improper fuel pump switches. Flight attendant distrs also played a role. Solution: re-double efforts to ensure proper confign.
