Narrative:
A B757 was getting ready to push off gate when a fast moving storm rolled through causing plane to wait at gate till storm cleared. At XA50 it began to hail for about 3 mins then turned to rain. Hail seemed to vary in size from pea size to maybe some just a little larger. At XB00 crew of aircraft asked me to come out and take a look at slats for hail damage. Upon inspection of slats, found small dents in wedge of slats on both wings. Went to srm and found dents to be within limits of srm and dispatched aircraft per srm. Performed ground walkaround and could see no other damage to aircraft. Aircraft went to slc where they performed a layover on aircraft and found more damage to aircraft. Unknown to me what the damage entails, but aircraft was ferried to dallas fort worth for repairs. I felt when inspecting the slats the dents were minor and the possibility of other damage would be none.
