Narrative:
Arrival in bos to gate. Another air carrier X aircraft parked too close to our gate to allow me to line up with the gate. Taxied the aircraft the best I could and maintained clearance. Ended up about 20 degrees off the taxi line. Talked to the other ground personnel after. They stated that they had no other place to park their aircraft.

Title: MD80 FLT CREW UNABLE TO CORRECTLY POS ACFT AT GATE DUE TO INCORRECT PARKING ANGLE OF ANOTHER ACFT AT ADJOINING GATE.
Narrative: ARR IN BOS TO GATE. ANOTHER ACR X ACFT PARKED TOO CLOSE TO OUR GATE TO ALLOW ME TO LINE UP WITH THE GATE. TAXIED THE ACFT THE BEST I COULD AND MAINTAINED CLRNC. ENDED UP ABOUT 20 DEGS OFF THE TAXI LINE. TALKED TO THE OTHER GND PERSONNEL AFTER. THEY STATED THAT THEY HAD NO OTHER PLACE TO PARK THEIR ACFT.
