Narrative:
In taxiing from the east ramp, I followed other aircraft that were taxiing for takeoff. I stopped at runway 29 run-up area and performed run-up. At this point I thought I was at runway 24. I even had an airport diagram in front of me (downloaded from company X). I then checked for other aircraft. One was on the opposite side of runway 29 (south side) waiting, and 1 aircraft was on a 4 mi final for runway 29. I then made my call and said on 122.8, 'cessna abc, taxiing onto runway two-four for takeoff.' as I was pulling onto the runway 29, the aircraft on the south side of runway 29 got on the radio and announced, 'aircraft taxiing onto runway is on runway two-nine, not two-four.' at that point, everyone was aware of each other's position/location, so I did not restate. Poor airport signage, unfamiliar with airport (never ben there), and excitement about starting my first very long cross country trip (400 NM). All were contributing factors. Other factors: takeoff time was 50 mins past originally planned.

Title: C152 PVT PLT TAXIED ONTO ANOTHER RWY TKOF OTHER THAN HE ANNOUNCED OVER UNICOM.
Narrative: IN TAXIING FROM THE E RAMP, I FOLLOWED OTHER ACFT THAT WERE TAXIING FOR TKOF. I STOPPED AT RWY 29 RUN-UP AREA AND PERFORMED RUN-UP. AT THIS POINT I THOUGHT I WAS AT RWY 24. I EVEN HAD AN ARPT DIAGRAM IN FRONT OF ME (DOWNLOADED FROM COMPANY X). I THEN CHKED FOR OTHER ACFT. ONE WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF RWY 29 (S SIDE) WAITING, AND 1 ACFT WAS ON A 4 MI FINAL FOR RWY 29. I THEN MADE MY CALL AND SAID ON 122.8, 'CESSNA ABC, TAXIING ONTO RWY TWO-FOUR FOR TKOF.' AS I WAS PULLING ONTO THE RWY 29, THE ACFT ON THE S SIDE OF RWY 29 GOT ON THE RADIO AND ANNOUNCED, 'ACFT TAXIING ONTO RWY IS ON RWY TWO-NINE, NOT TWO-FOUR.' AT THAT POINT, EVERYONE WAS AWARE OF EACH OTHER'S POS/LOCATION, SO I DID NOT RESTATE. POOR ARPT SIGNAGE, UNFAMILIAR WITH ARPT (NEVER BEN THERE), AND EXCITEMENT ABOUT STARTING MY FIRST VERY LONG XCOUNTRY TRIP (400 NM). ALL WERE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS. OTHER FACTORS: TKOF TIME WAS 50 MINS PAST ORIGINALLY PLANNED.
