Narrative:
ATC cleared us out of holding at spica (14000 ft) to dtw via the spica 2 arrival dtw descend and maintain 12000 ft. Passing through 12750, ATC requested us to stop our descent at 13000 ft. We informed them that we would climb back to 13000 ft. Off our nose, we saw another aircraft hold at 12000 ft and at spica. We did not receive a TCASII advisory. Seems we were both moving in the same direction.
