Narrative:

Location: dfw approach. During a visual approach to runway 17C at dfw, we lowered the landing gear and did not get a green down and locked light for the nose gear. I initiated a go around and we performed the appropriate checklist and landed uneventfully. After landing, I had maintenance meet the aircraft and pin the nose gear before we taxied to the gate.
