Narrative:
First leg of 3 day trip captain is instructor pilot out to get 3 landing current. In-range, we discussed approach to runway 25L. Captain set all crossing point altitudes. Approach control was very busy. They were giving a lot of visual approach clrncs because it was VMC. Things were busy in cockpit because approach control was giving traffic advisories to everybody. The captain was busy trying to slow down and go down to meet all crossing restrs. We received visual approach clearance for runway 25L approach. Proceeded to land (captain flying). On rollout, I noticed we were still on approach control frequency. As we pulled off runway, I switched to tower frequency. Tower cleared us to hold short of runway 25R. I asked tower if there was any problem with us still being on approach for landing. He said no, just next time when approach is that busy go ahead and switch to tower at OM by ourselves. (We never got clearance to switch to tower.) we were both busy. I was making sure captain was crossing at proper altitude and so was he.

Title: B757 CREW APCHING DEST ARPT DURING A VERY BUSY TIME WITH VERY HIGH WORKLOAD MISSED CHANGING TO TWR FOR LNDG CLRNC.
Narrative: FIRST LEG OF 3 DAY TRIP CAPT IS INSTRUCTOR PLT OUT TO GET 3 LNDG CURRENT. IN-RANGE, WE DISCUSSED APCH TO RWY 25L. CAPT SET ALL XING POINT ALTS. APCH CTL WAS VERY BUSY. THEY WERE GIVING A LOT OF VISUAL APCH CLRNCS BECAUSE IT WAS VMC. THINGS WERE BUSY IN COCKPIT BECAUSE APCH CTL WAS GIVING TFC ADVISORIES TO EVERYBODY. THE CAPT WAS BUSY TRYING TO SLOW DOWN AND GO DOWN TO MEET ALL XING RESTRS. WE RECEIVED VISUAL APCH CLRNC FOR RWY 25L APCH. PROCEEDED TO LAND (CAPT FLYING). ON ROLLOUT, I NOTICED WE WERE STILL ON APCH CTL FREQ. AS WE PULLED OFF RWY, I SWITCHED TO TWR FREQ. TWR CLRED US TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 25R. I ASKED TWR IF THERE WAS ANY PROB WITH US STILL BEING ON APCH FOR LNDG. HE SAID NO, JUST NEXT TIME WHEN APCH IS THAT BUSY GO AHEAD AND SWITCH TO TWR AT OM BY OURSELVES. (WE NEVER GOT CLRNC TO SWITCH TO TWR.) WE WERE BOTH BUSY. I WAS MAKING SURE CAPT WAS XING AT PROPER ALT AND SO WAS HE.
