Narrative:

Passenger got my attention complaining of chest pain and not being able to feel hands. I advised rest of crew. Everyone brought emergency equipment. We hooked up aed and it advised not to shock. We kept the cockpit advised of situation. They meanwhile were in contact with medical on the ground. Medical advised us to land in tucson. Meanwhile, after the fact, we found out the man had a history of panic attacks and had just forgotten to take his medicine. The event showed there was great crew coordination in emergency situation.

Title: A FLT ATTENDANT RPT ON A PAX PROB IN THAT SPECIFIED MEDICINE TO COMBAT INFLT PANIC ATTACKS WAS NOT TAKEN PRIOR TO THE FLT DEP WHICH RESULTED IN A NEEDLESS EMER DIVERSION.

Narrative: PAX GOT MY ATTN COMPLAINING OF CHEST PAIN AND NOT BEING ABLE TO FEEL HANDS. I ADVISED REST OF CREW. EVERYONE BROUGHT EMER EQUIP. WE HOOKED UP AED AND IT ADVISED NOT TO SHOCK. WE KEPT THE COCKPIT ADVISED OF SIT. THEY MEANWHILE WERE IN CONTACT WITH MEDICAL ON THE GND. MEDICAL ADVISED US TO LAND IN TUCSON. MEANWHILE, AFTER THE FACT, WE FOUND OUT THE MAN HAD A HISTORY OF PANIC ATTACKS AND HAD JUST FORGOTTEN TO TAKE HIS MEDICINE. THE EVENT SHOWED THERE WAS GREAT CREW COORD IN EMER SIT.
