Narrative:
Aircraft X was climbing near orl and asked ZJX for vectors 30 degrees right of course to avoid large WX cell to our left. Jax approved. Once we were established right of course, jax said he had only approved turns left of course, and turned us into the WX. We elected to descend on the left turn and avoided the cell. (Both crew were sure controller had reversed his clearance.)
