Narrative:

I allowed a pilot-wanna-be passenger to distract me. This caused me to not follow my before landing checklist, and I didn't put the gear down. After landing, I realized the gear and stall horn were not working. It was not known to me beforehand, nor was it placarded. Being an active instructor, I'm used to distrs during all phases of flight. Why this was different, I don't know. No injuries and only minor damage.
