Narrative:
En route to fly-in at oshkosh, wi, from the south, checked in with madison approach and received transponder code for transition through madison class C airspace. Somehow radio frequency got changed on my radio and I lost contact with madison approach for several mins. Realized error and checked back in. I believe I must have changed the frequency inadvertently while getting set up for the busy oshkosh arrival.
