Narrative:
Altitude: FL370. Location: cabla intersection. En route on flight to lima, just prior to and at re-release point of cabla, was unable to contact or receive via ACARS or HF (no satcom available) re-release instructions. We had fuel for both alternates cix and ari and WX was good at lima. Instead of diverting to gye, decided to continue to lima. Shortly after passing cabla, we received re-release message. In future, re-release point should be at ekeda or ateno where ACARS is available. Also, HF with fsl is still unreliable in certain areas of latin america.
